TRAININGFISA/IFC training covers the technology and practices necessary to maintain clean, pest free food operations and provide wholesome, safe foods. This training can be specific to one type of food product or food operation, or more general concerning the essentials that assure good food protection. We offer several training options.
FISA educational programs focus on Industrial Sanitation, Food Protection, Pest Management and Good Manufacturing Practices. The subjects include but are not limited to:

Focus on Food Industry Pest Management Seminar 2017
October 12, 2017 – Embassy Suites KCI Airport, Kansas City, Missouri
Pest prevention and innovative IPM strategies are key for today’s demanding food industry environment. On October 12, 2017, IFC will be hosting our annual Focus on Food Industry Pest Management Seminar at the Embassy Suites KCI Airport in Kansas City, Missouri. IFC is the leading national provider of pest management and sanitation solutions exclusively to the food industry. The knowledge and expertise we have gained comes from working directly with the food and commodity industries for over 80 years. This one day seminar is packed with information and will focus on food safety, integrated pest management, new industry developments and innovative strategies for controlling pests in a food environment. This forum will provide a great opportunity for you to learn directly from industry experts and it will allow you time to network with others.
The Focus on Food Industry Pest Management Seminar is intended for food industry sanitation managers and staff, quality assurance managers and staff as well as those responsible for pest management programs in a food environment. This seminar will provide pesticide applicator recertification credits for most states.
The cost for this seminar is $225 for those who register prior to September 1, 2017, and after $275 for registration after.
To help facilitate networking opportunities, a breakfast will be provided for seminar attendees from 7:00 to 7:50 a.m. The seminar will begin at 8:00 a.m. Lunch is also provided which will included a keynote speaker.
The Embassy Suites Hotel is less than 10 minutes South of KCI Airport on I-29.
