Many challenges face the food industry. Pests, and the contaminants they transmit, pose a threat to every food operation. Keeping your plant and products free of pests and contaminants is critical to the success of your organization. To prevent these adversities from becoming costly problems and to meet or exceed the requirements of internal and external pest management audits, it is extremely important that you develop a strong partnership with a pest management firm which understands your needs and has extensive experience in food industry pest management and sanitation.

Preventing problems before they become critical is the key element of success in the IPM strategy at IFC. We focus our efforts on prevention and sound methods of Integrated Pest Management. To Accomplish these objectives, our IPM program contains the following elements:

IFC's Program Objectives are:

  1. To insure that your facility and products are pest free and exceed the requirements of internal and external pest management audits.
  2. To establish a superior food safety program employing IPM for the prevention and control of pests in your facility with emphasis on cleaning, trapping, monitoring and harborage removal, thereby reducing the use of pesticides whenever practical.
  3. To establish techniques, procedures and practices within the sanitation and quality control program that ensure the performance results specified by you and IFC.

ProTrak
IFC's Premier Pest Management Tracking Service

IFC is continuously pursuing the latest advancements in Integrated Pest Management technology. Our most recent IPM tool addition, a pest and rodent control tracking system, utilizes laser scanners, bar codes and specifically designed software to collect and report comprehensive data on pest activity and service work performed at a location. The Protrak Service makes IFC the ideal service provider choice for your facility..

Our electronic system, featuring U-Trap-It® software, tracks pest and service activity by means of a bar code label that is attached to plant locations and individual pest management devices. Service personnel scan the bar codes with a portable scanner, answer specific questions for devices and areas (Operational Y/N?, Activity Y/N?, Bait Replaced Y/N?, etc.) The technician uploads the scanned results to the U-Trap-It software module via a docking station. This data is   then compiled into comprehensive real time reports, diagrams and comparison graphs which can be used to track pest activity, analyze problems and implement corrective solutions.

As a value added enhancement to our Contract Service (see below), the ProTrak ™ system allows you and IFC to quickly and easily monitor, track and report pest activity and trends at your facility. This comprehensive information, stored in a digital format, is a powerful tool in helping you understand pest activity and for maintaining high audit scores.

IFC's ProTrak service allows you and IFC to quickly and easily monitor, track and report pest activity within your facility.
